Musikpicknick

Studentkåren in Malmö will have a music picnic at the 23 of October. 4 bands will play this evening. Libra is one of them.

It's free entrance and the 50 first will also ge a free soup. So pack your picnic and join us this evening.

Release date

19th of October is the day of the release of the new single called "I´m ready to try". Two remixes will join the release, CMYK and Stenbit. At the same day there will be a release party at Sugar Ditch in Malmö. Libra will perform live with some old songs and of course the new one.

Finished

The new song "I'm ready to try" is finally finished. Wow! The song + remixes is away for some mastering at the Repeatle Studio and I'm working on a cover photo.

Hopefully everything is finished soon so we can set the release date. At the same day there will be a release party here in Malmö. 

Lovely summer

Sadly now my vacation is over. I had a lovely time by the sea. 

This means that it's time for music making again. I just hope the studio will get a little bit colder. It feels like I'm melting away.

Today I have continued with the new song, I'm ready to try. I added a new sound and will now try to find a new hi hat to make that extra swing.

I have also emailed another musician that is interested in a collaboration. I know there is more people out there that wants to make music together with me. I have not time för everyone, sorry. Maybe later. I think it would be fun to make music with someone that makes different kind of music than me. Just contact me on my email. You'll find it on www.libramusik.com

Radio show & free sampler

This Friday the 21st of June there will be a radio show, playing all the songs from the upcoming free sampler named "Body To Body" with release at the same day. Libra will join this sampler and radio program and I hope you at least will download the songs. 21st of June is "Midsommarafton" in Sweden so I won´t be able to listen to the show myself. Too bad. But I think you can listen to the show later as well. I hope so...

Yesterday I meet up with Cecilia from Photoinvivo for new photos of me. I think it turned out well. This photos I will use for the new release. I'm very excited!!! :)

New power

I have been on vacation and is now back for more music making. I have got 13 remixes of my new song "I'm ready to try" and have to finished the original song. Then I will pick the 2 best remixes and release the song.

Then I have to finish the other new songs and release that EP. So the plan is, 2 releases this year. Sounds good?

Issues

Today I´m working with an old song called Issues. I started with that song some years ago and I just love it too much. I can´t let it go. I started to work with it in Reason and now I´m continue it in Logic. Sounds much better. I´m thinking of recording a real guitar instead of using the one in Reason and Logic. I have to ask my fiance about that. I´m not that good. But he is...
